COVIM OBTAINS UTZ CERTIFICATION FROM CSQA
UTZ certified coffee is synonymous with sustainable agriculture.
The UTZ protocol is a world-wide certification programme for coffee producers intended to clearly identify products produced taking ethical and environmental concerns into account, qualifying them as “sustainable”.
The UTZ programme requires great involvement of growers to ensure compliance with specific codes of conduct, setting up a documented management system and implementing an identification and traceability system for all the players involved.
Covim obtained this important document from CSQA, which certifies traceability of UTZ coffee throughout the entire production process following growing. Coffee consumers want to know where their coffee comes from and whether it has been responsibly grown. Covim believes it has a duty to its customers to obtain this certification.
UTZ certified coffee is produced through sustainable agriculture, ensuring that production is implemented correctly, without causing any suffering for workers or local populations.
