VENDITALIA 2018. COVIM PARTICIPATES IN A RECORD-SETTING SHOW

The twentieth Venditalia Worldwide Vending Exhibition organised by Venditalia Servizi and promoted by Confida was held June 6 through 9 in halls 3 and 4 of Fieramilanocity. The event beat all the previous records for number of visitors, exhibitors and square metres of display space.
Covim presented its products to the industry in its biggest ever exhibition space, a stand measuring 350 square metres which was crowded throughout all four days of the event despite its size. This result allowed Covim to present the excellence of its product range to buyers from all over the world – more than 100 different countries.
Dealers particularly appreciated Superba, the exclusive system that protects operators from alternative supply channels unveiled at Venditalia.
Alongside the Covim CS100, a machine that has already gone down in the history of the system, the CS200 version is now available, with a mixer for fresh milk or powdered mixes, and another version will be presented before the end of the year: CS80, produced by the Evoca Group specifically for the home market.
There was also much interest in the new compostable self-protecting capsule made with an innovative bioplastic produced through fermentation of plants sugars. Covim’s commitment to sustainability is not limited to environmental concerns, but also includes product certification. At Venditalia the company announced to the industry that it has obtained prestigious UTZ certification.
The UTZ protocol is a world-wide certification programme for sustainable coffee producers which guarantees that primary production is implemented correctly, without causing any suffering for workers or local populations. Venditalia 2018 offered an outstanding showcase for the entire Covim product range, including coffee beans and all the capsule formats compatible with the most popular espresso systems on the market, also attracting representatives of the Ho.Re.Ca. industry. Covim continues to invest in this sector and announced the opening of a 110 square metre concept store in the new food court of the Serravalle Scrivia Retail Park today.
