COVIM MAKES A SPLASH AT THE FORTY-FIRST EDITION OF HOST

Covim was the star of the show at HostMilano 2019, a record-breaking edition attracting more than 200 thousand visitors and a world-wide hub for the hospitality industry.
In a new stand measuring more than 300 square metres with an all-new display format, Covim presented plenty of new products for the Ho.Re.Ca, foodservice, retail, supermarket and vending machine channels.
At this edition of Host, Covim confirmed its special vocation for ecology and strong focus on sustainable development. The year saw the completion of a number of projects involving development of compostable Covim capsules for various espresso machine systems destined for sale through different channels, and the prominent Milanese trade show offered the perfect opportunity to unveil the new compostable capsules made of an innovative new bioplastic produced by fermenting sugars from plants.
Seven months after Venditalia 2020, the vending machine sector was also a key focus at Host. Dealers from the industry, primarily international (40% of visitors), appreciated organic coffee beans and Covim Opera Bio capsules, products specifically intended for the vending machine channel.
Host also marked the debut of Superba, Covim’s exclusive patented self-protecting capsule system, with a focus on the new model CS100R, with its all-Italian heart and design. The range was completed with two more models at the stand: the CS80, intended for the home market, and the CS200 complete with milk foamer.
